About The Role

We are looking for a Head - Finance to lead the finance and accounting function for the India business, with end-to-end ownership of financial reporting, accounting, cash flow, taxation, audits, compliance, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.

The role will be responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, accurate and timely reporting, regulatory compliance and effective financial planning, while partnering with business leaders to provide meaningful financial insights and support business decision-making.

What You Will Do

- Lead the Finance & Accounting function with overall ownership of financial accounting, reporting, controls, compliance and financial governance for the India business and its sister concern.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, revenue recognition, accruals, cost allocations, depreciation and monthly closing activities.
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closure and reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to timelines.




- Lead General Ledger reviews and financial controls, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment, accruals, provisions and cost allocations.
- Drive management reporting, including monthly actual expenditure, variance analysis, financial insights and scenario planning to support business decisions.
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process, partnering with business stakeholders to develop realistic financial plans and monitor performance against budgets.
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital, including cash flow forecasting, fund requirements, collections and payment planning.
- Own the audit process, including coordination with internal and external auditors, timely resolution of audit observations and closure of audits within agreed timelines.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Group Accounting Policies and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including financial and tax-related filings and reporting.
- Oversee taxation and regulatory compliance, working with internal and external advisors to identify and address accounting and tax matters appropriately.
- Provide leadership on technical accounting matters, assessing the impact of changes in accounting standards, regulations and Group policies on the business.
- Establish, strengthen and monitor financial controls, accounting policies and processes,



ensuring appropriate governance and risk management across the function.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives across Finance to improve efficiency, accuracy, reporting quality and scalability.
- Ensure effective Group Reporting in line with internal reporting requirements and timelines.
- Partner closely with business leaders and key stakeholders to provide financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed business decisions.
- Lead vendor and external partner management across finance-related activities, ensuring effective service delivery and commercial governance.
- Build, mentor and develop the Finance team, establishing clear ownership, performance expectations and capability development.
- Act as the key finance point of contact for senior management and Group stakeholders, ensuring transparency on financial performance, risks, forecasts and business priorities.

Ideal Candidate

- CA with 12-15 years of experience in the building construction industry / workplace interior fit-out industry.
- Should have strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting, taxation, compliance, cash flow and internal controls.
- Should have the ability to translate financial data into business insights and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
- Should have the ability to drive process transformation, automation and continuous improvement within Finance.
- Strong commercial orientation with a focus on financial discipline, risk management and business partnering.
- You work well under pressure and can work independently with minimal supervision.
