- Planning and Strategy Conceptualize and share inputs for E&M; with an aim to deliver results as per the sales and operational plans, in line with the business strategy Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure adherence to the same as per timelines Ensure machine availability at the right time and address any equipment breakdown issues as per requirements

Liaising

Work with the Unit Head to ensure best practices are implemented in the respective plant and share feedback/inputs for continuous improvement of the E&M; planning and execution Share technical requirements for new machinery/equipment required with the Procurement team and proactively assist the team in technical evaluation of the same

Operations

Support, comply and ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality and environment regulations Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of all the equipment, boilers and distilleries are carried out within set timelines Ensure all preventive, reactive, corrective and planned maintenance schedules are adhered to Proactively identify areas of obstruction/breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipment's through application of trouble shooting tools Manage the process of disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment as per applicable environment, safety and quality related regulations Ensure appropriate MIS is created,



maintained and shared for feedback and decision making Ensure adherence to the set maintenance and engineering plans with an aim to drive overall effectiveness and efficiency of the equipment Ensure initiation of modern technologies at the plant level to ramp-up production level using energy effective and minimum downtime techniques 4. Self/ Team Development Build capability for smooth E&M; operations at the plant and conduct capability building sessions for the team members/cross functional teams for implementation of best practices (TPM etc.) under guidance of Unit Head Provide safety training and ensure that all safety protocols are in place Review and monitor performance of team members� and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for team�s development Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees A merger of experience and expertise, Dalmia is the pioneer and leader in innovation for the last seven decades.
