The Head Corporate Communications is responsible for developing, elevating, and protecting AMRs corporate reputation while positioning the organization as one of India's leading mining and infrastructure companies. Reporting directly to the CEO, the incumbent will strategically lead the organization's external communications, media engagement, digital presence, and corporate branding initiatives.

This role requires a high-impact communications leader with an established media network and a proven track record in driving positive visibility through strategic media outreach, executive thought leadership, and high-level stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Media Relations & Corporate Reputation

- Strategic Media Engagement: Design and execute a proactive media relations strategy to continuously enhance AMR’s corporate brand, market standing, and public visibility.
- Network & Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with leading business editors, journalists, TV networks, digital platforms, and heavy-industry publications.
- Editorial & Coverage Placement: Secure high-value editorial coverage highlighting AMR’s major projects, business milestones, engineering achievements, and operational excellence.
- Executive Presence & Thought Leadership: Identify and secure high-profile opportunities for the CEO and senior leadership, including keynotes, panel discussions, industry conferences, and exclusive media interviews.
- Media Intelligence: Oversee ongoing media monitoring, industry news tracking, and competitive intelligence to recommend proactive communication strategies.

2. Corporate Brand Building & Strategic Campaigns

- Market Positioning: Position AMR as a premier driver of India's mining and infrastructure development through integrated brand strategies.
- Campaign Execution: Conceive and run integrated campaigns focusing on key business differentiators:



project execution excellence, technological innovations, safety records, and ESG/CSR leadership.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with HR to build and drive compelling employer branding initiatives that establish AMR as an employer of choice in the heavy industry sector.

3. Public Relations & Stakeholder Engagement

- External Relations: Build and maintain strategic touchpoints with key external bodies, including industry associations, regulatory agencies, customer leadership, and project consultants.
- Corporate Events: Plan and direct corporate PR events, press conferences, major project inaugurations, and community outreach programs.
- CSR Communications: Amplify the impact of AMR’s CSR, community engagement, and sustainability initiatives through dedicated storytelling and public relations.

Candidate Profile & Desired Qualifications

- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Master’s Degree or MBA in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, English Literature, or a related field.

- Experience:
- 12 to 20 years of progressive experience in Corporate Communications, PR, or Media Relations.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in Mining, Infrastructure, EPC, Construction, Heavy Engineering, Metals, or Manufacturing.
- Core Competencies & Skills:
- Established Media Network: Extensive network across Tier-1 business newspapers, television channels, trade journals, and digital media platforms in India.
- Digital & Social Media Savvy: Demonstrated success in shaping digital presence and managing corporate social media channels.
- Storytelling & Executive Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and narrative-building skills with an ability to translate complex engineering/technical achievements into compelling content.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to work closely with C-suite executives to translate overarching corporate strategy into explicit messaging.
