Role Purpose: The Assembly Shop Maintenance Manager / Sr Manager is responsible for Installation, commissioning, routine Predictive, preventive, Planned and breakdown maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure that TPM PM Pillar work orders are planned as per equipment available in assembly lines.

- Conduct a daily check on PM planned Vs actual and make necessary arrangements to achieve 100% PM adherence.

- Track critical spares and open points from PM requirement.

- Ensure that spares are procured in time and track timely closure of open items.

- Release PM Adherence weekly report along with phenomena wise occurrences.

- Track FI (Focused Improvement) projects for top 5 phenomena on all assembly lines.

- Track 5S audit in maintenance and close open points in a timely manner.

- Develop maintenance team capability to implement and achieve zero downtime.

- Identify critical talent in the team and develop individual development plans for growth of critical talent.

- Develop maintenance dexterity and ensure that maintenance training is provided to all flexible workforce.

- Ensure that there is adequate area provided to trained team members for trials.

- Periodically track repair cell to ensure that repairs and refurbishment of spares are being done timely.

- Ensure capability and provisions to make spares in-house.

- Monitor repair and maintenance cost, by improving or maintaining machine and spare parts performance.

- Attend and contribute to regular, department, and company meetings,



(Current affairs, Quality, Weekend planning, etc).

- Ensure discipline in ordering new parts and stocking the right parts at the right location for easy access and retrieval of spares.

- Prepare lessons learnt in form of SOC and HTAA and share the same with RFQ to make provision for current cells.

- Ensure flawless implementation of TPM drive on assembly floor.

- Plan and monitor closure of maintenance related action items arising from EHS, OSHAS, and near miss issues.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Unplanned downtime (minutes / shift)

- Mean time between failures (MTBF)

- Adherence to Planned Vs actual preventive maintenance

- Planned Maintenance Percentage

- MTTR Mean time to repair

- Maintenance Costs – Budget Vs Actual

Education: BE/ B.Tech

- Experience of 20 -22 years in Production maintenance with extensive experience in robotics maintenance and machine maintenance.

- Exposure to Press Maintenance would an added advantage.

- Preferably from Tier 1 automotive sector. Stamping industry would be an advantage.

Technical Skills:

- Extensive knowledge of robotics and machine maintenance.

- Proven expertise in Preventive maintenance and exposure to TPM/ Lean Manufacturing.

- Experience in dealing with Major OEM’s.

Behavioural Skills:

- Excellent communication skill.

- Ability to manage and develop team.

- Ability to work under pressure for long hours.

- Disciplined approach to work.
