Role Description The Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and validating electronic hardware solutions for new and existing products. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai and involves working closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust circuit designs and hardware architectures.

Typical responsibilities include schematic design, component selection, PCB design collaboration, and support for prototype build and bring-up. The role also includes performing simulations, debugging hardware issues,



supporting design verification and validation testing, and preparing design documentation. The engineer will contribute to design reviews, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and support production engineering for smooth transition from prototype to volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and Hardware Design, with experience in end-to-end product design workflows.
- Candidates should possess solid Electronics Hardware Design and Circuit Design skills, including schematic capture, component selection, and design analysis.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Hardware Architecture, including defining system-level hardware blocks and interfaces.
- Knowledge of PCB design tools and workflows, signal integrity considerations, and EMC/EMI best practices is beneficial.
- Experience with embedded systems, firmware integration, and hardware–software co-design is an advantage.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies) and hands-on debugging skills is expected.
- Understanding of relevant industry standards, safety and regulatory requirements, and design-for-manufacturing principles is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering workplace.
