Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gynecologist to provide comprehensive medical care to women across different stages of life. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions, providing antenatal and postnatal care, performing appropriate procedures, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations, examinations, and medical assessments for female patients.
- Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders and reproductive health conditions.
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care where applicable.
- Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies as per qualifications and hospital protocols.
- Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries within the scope of expertise.
- Conduct and interpret relevant investigations such as ultrasound, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Provide contraception and family-planning counselling.
- Manage menstrual disorders, PCOS, infertility-related concerns, menopause, and other women's health conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.
- Explain diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and follow-up requirements to patients and their families.
- Coordinate with nurses, anesthetists, pediatricians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
- Handle emergency gynecological and obstetric cases appropriately.
- Follow hospital infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical protocols.
- Participate in medical camps, health-awareness programs, and departmental activities when required.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Relevant clinical experience preferred.

- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and patient-counselling skills.
- Ability to manage emergencies effectively.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Good documentation and medical-record management.
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Experience
- Freshers: May be considered depending on hospital requirements.
- Experienced candidates: Preference may be given to candidates with relevant experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
