We are looking for a skilled and passionate Guitar Teacher for Global Indian International School (GIIS). The teacher will be responsible for conducting guitar classes as per the school's curriculum-based portion and helping students develop their musical knowledge and performance skills.
? Key Responsibilities
- Conduct guitar classes as per the school curriculum and prescribed portion.
- Teach students Staff Notation and music reading.
- Develop students' guitar-playing skills and understanding of music theory.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons according to students' learning levels.
- Prepare students for school events, performances and other musical activities.
- Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and encouraging classroom environment.
✅ Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Guitar.
- Must be well-versed in Staff Notation.
- Positive knowledge of Music Theory.
- Prior experience in school teaching or music education is preferred.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with students.
