Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer (3-12 Years Experience)

Role Summary

Design, develop, and support Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions for P&C; Insurance, delivering high-quality configurations, integrations, and enhancements

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and configure PolicyCenter components including Gosu, PCFs, Rules, Data Model, Product Model, and Workflows.
- Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Messaging, and Integration Framework.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, QA, and product teams to deliver solutions.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, and production support.
- Troubleshoot application and performance issues.
- Support Guidewire upgrades, cloud migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices.
- Leverage AI tools for faster development cycle

Required Skills





- 3-12 years of Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience.
- Strong knowledge of GOSU, PCFs, Rules, Data Model, Product Model, and Workflows.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, Messaging, and integrations.
- Knowledge of SQL, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Positive understanding of the P&C; Insurance Policy Lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

- Guidewire Certification (Associate/ACE).
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
- Exposure to ClaimCenter, APD, Jutro, and InsuranceSuite ecosystem.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Datadog and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud migration and insurance modernization programs.

Experience Expectations

- 3-5 Years: Develop configurations, integrations, and support releases independently.
- 6-8 Years: Lead complex development efforts, design solutions, and mentor junior developers.
- 9-12 Years: Drive technical leadership, architecture alignment, cloud adoption, and strategic transformation initiatives.
