Role: Guidewire Billing Architect

Experience: 12-16 Years

Job Location: Hyderabad/ Remote

Responsibilities

- Define BillingCenter solution architecture and modernization roadmap.

- Lead architecture workshops and translate business capabilities into technical designs.

- Design direct bill, agency bill, list bill, invoicing, payment, and commission solutions.

- Define delinquency, cancellation, reinstatement, and financial processing workflows.

- Design integration architecture for payment gateways, banks, policy systems, general ledger, and external services.

- Govern configuration, performance, security, auditability, and reconciliation standards.

- Review designs and mentor technical leads and developers.

- Support cloud migration, upgrades, release readiness, and production stabilization.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10-15 years of experience in configuration and customization for any Guidewire Billing system development.





- Deep BillingCenter architecture and configuration expertise.

- Experience on Qusar, Palisades, Olos, Niseko, or Mammoth

- Billing plans, payment plans, invoicing, and payment processing.

- Direct bill, agency bill, list bill, commissions, and producer management.

- Delinquency, cancellation, and reinstatement workflows.

- Advanced Gosu, PCF, data model, rules, batch, messaging, and integrations.

- Insurance financial accounting and reconciliation concepts.

- Guidewire Cloud Platform experience.

Valuable To Have

- Guidewire ACE certification.

- PolicyCenter integration experience.

- CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native engineering exposure.

- Experience with multiple currencies or regional billing models.

- Guidewire certification is preferred.

- Relevant insurance domain certification is an advantage.
