Growth Product Manager
Location: Mumbai, India The role in one line
Own the revenue we make from artists and small promoters who buy from us without ever speaking to a salesperson.
Context The Company' PRO sells advertising and reach to promoters, venues, festivals and ticketing companies through a sales team. Alongside that, a long tail of artists and small promoters buys campaigns directly, self-serve, worldwide. That business already generates several million dollars a year and nobody owns it. It sits between operations, product and marketing.
We're making it a line with a number and one person accountable for it. Support for these customers already runs from our India office, so the customers are already ours to serve; what's missing is someone running the funnel.
This is not a feature-shipping product role. You carry a revenue and retention number.
What you'll own
- The full self-serve funnel end to end: acquisition, signup, activation, first spend, repeat spend.
- The funnel surfaces: pricing pages, onboarding, activation messaging, the first-spend flow.
You ship these directly with dedicated engineering capacity.
- Paid acquisition to reach artists who don't know we exist, with your own budget.
- The cohort picture: what share of artists who spend once spend again within 90 days,
and why the rest don't.
What you're measured on
- Self-serve revenue.
- Repeat-spend rate.
- Cost per acquired spender, against lifetime value.
- Volume of accounts crossing the $1,000/year threshold, at which point they surface to an account executive.
Who we're looking for A marketer who can ship, more than a product manager who can market.
Required:
- You have personally carried a revenue target on a self-serve funnel.
Product-led SaaS, consumer subscription, e-commerce — the sector matters less than the fact that nobody was there to blame the sales team.
- You read cohorts instinctively. Given a signup number, your first question is about the second purchase.
- You have run paid acquisition with your own budget and know what it cost you to acquire a paying customer.
- You are comfortable shipping pricing and packaging changes, not only onboarding flows.
- You can work with engineers directly and specify what you need without a layer in between.
Not required:
- Music industry experience. This is a low-ticket global funnel; the mechanics transfer from e-commerce or SaaS faster than an industry background transfers into analytics.
