Job Summary:

The Plotter Machine Operator (Designing) is responsible for preparing, operating, and maintaining plotter machines used for printing large format designs, templates, and technical drawings. The role supports design and production teams by ensuring accurate output of bus body layouts, vinyl graphics, and fabrication drawings.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate and maintain large format plotter/printing machines.

· Prepare design files and layouts for printing using design software.

· Print bus body graphics, vinyl wraps, templates, and technical drawings.

· Coordinate with design and production teams for correct dimensions and specifications.

· Ensure print quality, color accuracy, and material optimization.

· Load media such as vinyl, flex, paper, or plotting sheets into the machine.

· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the plotter machine.





· Maintain inventory of printing materials and consumables.

· Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

Required Qualifications

Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or related field.

Experience

1–5 years of experience operating plotter machines, preferably in vehicle graphics, advertising, signage, or manufacturing industries.

Technical Skills

· Knowledge of plotter and large format printing machines

· Basic understanding of design software such as CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or Adobe Illustrator

· Understanding of vinyl cutting, printing, and graphic layouts

· File preparation and scaling for large format prints

· Basic machine troubleshooting
