Job Summary

We're looking for a versatile Graphic + UI Designer, someone who can seamlessly blend the artistry of graphic design with the precision of user interface creation. In this unique role, you'll be tasked with illustrating design ideas from diverse product requirements, crafting wireframes, and developing brand style guides. Your expertise will shine as you design intuitive user interface elements and create original graphic designs, from infographics to mind-maps.

As you bridge the worlds of graphic and UI design, your work will ensure a cohesive design language across various devices and mediums.

Responsibilities

- Illustrate design ideas from product requirement documents, storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Develop and improve product wireframes and overall brand style guides.
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, icons and widgets.
- Develop mockups that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
- Create original graphic designs, including images, posters, sketches and tables.
- Create infographics, mind-maps, cartoons, flowcharts, diagrams, etc., to be embedded in the course.
- Maintain design style in user interfaces and communication across different devices, designs and mediums.
- Conduct layout adjustments based on feedback.




- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.

Required Competencies

Essential:

- Experience in UI and graphic design backed by a strong portfolio.
- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
- Experience using tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz.
- Knowledge of color theory.

Preferred:

- Basic understanding of front-end languages like HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, Veed.io, Linear, Intercom, Plateau and Miro.
- A robust belief that a team as a whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills.
