Job Purpose

We are looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee – Logistics & Supply Chain with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering to support day-to-day supply chain, material planning, inventory, warehouse and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in material planning and material requirement tracking as per production requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Stores, Quality and Logistics teams for timely material availability.
- Monitor inbound and outbound logistics and ensure timely movement of materials.
- Track inventory levels, stock availability, shortages and excess inventory.
- Support warehouse and stores operations, including material receipt, storage, issue and dispatch.
- Follow up with vendors/suppliers for material delivery and pending orders.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, inventory reports and logistics status reports.
- Support Purchase Order (PO), GRN, dispatch and material documentation.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and highlight delays or shortages.
- Assist in transportation planning and transporter coordination.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, inventory optimization and process improvement.
- Support implementation of FIFO, 5S, Kanban,



Lean and other manufacturing/logistics practices where applicable.
- Work with ERP/SAP and MS Excel for material and logistics tracking.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure uninterrupted material flow to production.
- Support management in maintaining OTIF, inventory and logistics KPIs.

B.Tech Mechanical graduates are relevant for these roles because mechanical-engineering curricula commonly include supply-chain, inventory, logistics, manufacturing and material-management concepts. Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
