Role & responsibilities

Chemical Engineering

- Looking after the daily production and providing daily reports
- Work in accordance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and departmental procedures to meet customer demands.
- Support Plant head in planning for reprocess material, carrying out RCA , raising MOC & executing all the actions in plant level.
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and business teams to manage product availability and customer delivery across the SCM.
- Understand and ensure the following of the Raw material unloading procedure from tanker to storage tanks.
- Identifying & reporting any abnormality of tankers, appearance of Raw material
- To participate in RCA as and when required, ensure the implementation of the action plan.
- Taking/Suggesting new initiatives for Kizen, Poka Yoke and lead the same.
- Understanding the PSSR and support the team In carrying out PSSR.

Mechanical
- Coordinate activities such as cleaning of machines, breakdown or preventive and predictive maintenance and record pending activities for completion.
- Daily monitoring of all the equipments and support the team in attending equipment failure timely manner.
- Ensure safeguarding of the equipment's and maintaining as per the stock Job.
- Support in preparation of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) report for equipment/machine failure.
- See that all the safety standards related with machines are been followed by the workers/employees




- Taking required action for machine's and system's regular maintenance
- Advocating and driving the safety the safety culture across the plant.
- Acquire required knowledge and training wrt. 5S & to train & guide the Plant Personnel about 5S system.
- Understanding all the TQM initiatives and ensure its implementation at plant level by driving the TQM culture.
- Ensure participation and compliance wrt. Corporate Training Calendar.

Instrumentation
- Analyze current equipment to identify the areas of inefficiency and needs for improvement designs in consultation with team.
- Study the reason of equipment failure and prepare a why why analysis report.
- Familiarity with codes and standards for domestic and/or international and generally current on latest scientific and engineering methods.
- Acquire Knowledge on the Valuable wiring Practices and cable selection as per the global safety standards.
- Act as an observer to Oversee the implementation of new measuring devices and control systems, ensuring devices are correctly installed and properly tested.
- Assist with preparation of P&IDs; and I &E; design for assigned projects as and when required.

Understanding the calibration methods and support the team in the calibration of the equipment.
