About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and responsible GPR Operator / Technician to operate Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment for underground utility detection and subsurface surveying. The candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting GPR data, identifying underground utilities/structures, and maintaining accurate survey records.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) equipment for underground surveys.
- Conduct field scanning to detect underground utilities, cables, pipelines, ducts, and other subsurface structures.
- Collect and record accurate GPR survey data from project sites.
- Analyze and interpret GPR data/radargrams to identify underground features.
- Mark and identify detected utilities at site as required.
- Assist in preparing survey reports, field notes, and documentation.
- Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, GIS teams, and project personnel.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and ensure proper handling of GPR equipment.




- Follow all site safety procedures and project guidelines.
- Travel to different project locations as required.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with GPR equipment and underground utility detection.
- Knowledge of GPR scanning and data collection.
- Basic understanding of surveying and site measurements.
- Ability to interpret GPR/radar data is preferred.
- Knowledge of GPS/DGPS, GIS, AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work at field/project sites.
- Ability to travel as required.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Geology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant field experience with GPR/utility surveying may also be considered.
