Graduate Apprentice (On contract for 1 year)

Stipend Amount- 30000/- INR monthly

Role & responsibilities

1. Support the Machine Shop / Assembly Department in day-to-day production and operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient shop-floor operations.
2. Read, understand and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, process specifications, SOPs and standard work practices.
3. Gain hands-on exposure to machining, assembly, fabrication and other manufacturing processes, as applicable to the assigned area.
4. Support production planning activities, productivity improvement and efficient utilization of resources.
5. Follow and promote quality, safety, 5S , KAIZEN and standard operating practices in the workplace.
6. Assist in preparing production reports, MIS, documentation, data analysis and other operational reports as required.
7. Maintain accurate production records, check sheets, process documentation and other relevant records.
8. Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to support manufacturing activities.
9. Participate in structured on-the-job training,



technical learning interventions and skill-development activities related to Machine Shop / Assembly and manufacturing operations.
10. Develop practical knowledge of manufacturing systems, production equipment, tools, processes, technologies and industrial workplace practices.
11. Maintain a daily Apprentice Journal/Logbook covering activities performed, learning and observations, and keep it updated and readily available for review/inspection.
12. Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, equipment and manufacturing processes.
13. Comply with all company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, discipline and workplace procedures.
14. Undertake additional responsibilities and assignments as reasonably assigned by the Reporting Manager from time to time.

Education & Experience :

- Graduate Degree/Diploma in Mechanical /Production Engineering
- Fresh graduates preferred.
- Good academic record.
- Willingness to learn and work in an industrial workplace.

Technical Skills

- MS Excel and data handling
- Basic knowledge of relevant engineering/business processes
- Digital and analytical skill
