Media Magnetix is a South Australian digital marketing agency helping growing brands get real results through paid media, social, content, influencer marketing and PR. We're a small, fast-moving team with a mix of clients, including travel, and you'll work directly with the founder.

The role

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Google Ads Specialist with proven travel industry experience to plan, launch and optimise campaigns that drive what our travel clients care about: calls, enquiries and bookings, not just clicks.

What you'll do

- Build and manage Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen and Display campaigns from setup to optimisation
- Run call-focused campaigns using call assets and call tracking
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager, enhanced conversions)
- Research keywords, write strong ad copy and manage negatives, match types and search terms
- Manage budgets and bidding strategies, and explain the "why" behind performance
- Create clear weekly and monthly reports in plain language for clients
- Work with our social and content team so paid and organic support each other
- Spot problems early (paused campaigns, tracking gaps, wasted spend) and fix them fast

What you bring

- Mandatory:



5+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience, with proven travel industry experience (travel agency, airline, flights, tours, accommodation or OTA)
- Proven results running booking- or enquiry-driven campaigns in travel, with real budgets
- Solid understanding of travel search behaviour, seasonality and competitive bidding (flights, deals, destination and route-based keywords)
- Strong grasp of conversion tracking and attribution (GA4, Google Tag Manager, call tracking, enhanced conversions)
- Comfortable talking to clients and managing expectations honestly
- Detail-oriented, organised, and happy to own your work
- Google Ads certification (a plus)

Nice to have Experience with app campaigns, Meta Ads knowledge, Looker Studio reporting, and experience with Australian or international (e.g. Australia–India) travel markets.
