Role & responsibilities

- Define and execute the R&D; and Technology roadmap in line with corporate growth objectives and market needs

- Build a strong pipeline of cutting-edge specialty products and ensure their successful commercialization

- Partner with commercial teams to align product development with market needs and drive business growth

- Propose new products, technologies and applications based on research and customer insights

- Monitor competitor technologies and market innovations to maintain a competitive edge

- Work with global product development teams on technology transfer, formulation compliance and product launches

- Serve as the company's technology spokesperson in technical forums, industry associations and customer interactions

Preferred candidate profile

- 20-25 years in R&D;, product development and quality in specialty chemicals, with 8-10+ years in senior leadership

- Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science

- Proven experience in commercialization and lab-to-plant technology transfer

- Strategic leader who can drive business growth and represent the company to global teams and customers
