Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Global Category Lead Indirect Procurement to drive global sourcing strategy, category management, supplier management, cost optimization and procurement transformation across indirect spend categories.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Indirect Procurement / Category Management, with specific expertise in the India temporary / contingent labour market.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute global category strategies for indirect spend.
- Lead strategic sourcing, RFx, negotiations and contract management.
- Manage contingent / temporary labour procurement and staffing supplier relationships.
- Work with MSP and VMS models/platforms for contingent workforce management.
- Drive supplier selection, qualification, performance management and development.
- Negotiate commercial terms and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance and TCO optimization.
- Manage supplier risk, compliance, business continuity and sustainability.
- Partner with HR, Finance, IT, Engineering, Operations and global stakeholders.
- Drive supplier consolidation, demand management and productivity improvements.
- Lead procurement transformation, digitalization and process improvement initiatives.
- Leverage procurement tools and analytics such as Coupa, Tableau and other digital procurement platforms.




- Support ESG and responsible sourcing initiatives.
- Track procurement KPIs including savings, supplier performance, contract compliance and working capital.

Mandatory Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Category Management.
- Solid experience in Indirect Procurement.
- Hands-on experience in Contingent Labour / Temporary Labour / Workforce Procurement.
- Exposure to MSP (Managed Service Provider) and VMS (Vendor Management System).
- Strong experience in supplier management and commercial negotiations.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, RFx and contract management.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience managing global / regional suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business / Procurement.
