- Role Description

Reporting to the MDM Global Process Owner the Global Data Quality & Governance Lead directs a team of 3-5 employees who are responsible for executing and driving the global SOPs, governance standards and data quality framework for master data across Product, Business Partner (BP), and Finance domains within SAP ERP environments and other data products in use for data quality & information governance.

The incumbent will be accountable for performing various checks, analyses and interacting with stakeholders across a complex network of stakeholders across OMS, SCM, GBS, Finance and BT to ensure effective execution of data governance & data quality processes. Continuous improvement and end-to-end thinking to support the business is an inherent part of this role. The incumbent will own and drive master data quality KPIs and metrics governing data accuracy, as well as driving improvements in this area.

He/ She will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure strong adherence to global standards and a consistent, enforced governance framework for master data management.

- Responsibilities

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:

 Global Data Quality & Governance Lead will own and drive adherence to the global SOPs for master data management, including data dictionaries, and will manage the process to keep these updated and ensure adherence of the master data community to the global standards.

 Drive and enforce the data governance framework and associated controls: He/ she will work with Business Technology to deploy and enhance as necessary,



the active data governance workflows and processes.

 The incumbent will own and manage key data accuracy metrics and ensure a robust framework to monitor and improve data quality. He/ She will lead and initiate continuous data quality improvement and strategic activities across Product, Business Partner (BP), and

Finance domains and will perform monthly monitoring of data quality metrics.

 The incumbent will act as the data governance and data quality lead for ERP roll outs and subsequent enhancements, ensuring data standards, data migration quality, and governance controls are embedded and adhered to and be responsible for the management of the data products in use across Product, Business Partner (BP), and Finance domains.

 Management of a team of Data Governance & Quality Specialists and SMEs: The Global

Data Governance &Quality Lead is a people-manager with the ability to develop the individual team members and the team, driving continuous improvement, with strong leadership qualities, interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to lead cross-

functional teams, and the ability to anticipate and solve problems.

 Acts as primary contact for various stakeholder groups including but not limited to COSI &

ICO, D&L, SHE, Local Finance, Plant Maintenance, Global MDM, Material Handling, O2C,

Production Execution, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Serialization & S2S for questions and requests regarding data standards, governance and quality requirements. The incumbent will

Proprietary direct their team to partner with these stakeholders to define, govern and ensure adherence to data standards, quality requirements and controls across Product, Business Partner (BP),

and Finance domains, ensuring data is consistently created, maintained and compliantly accessed and used.

 Lead the data quality & governance forum, leading global & cross functional alignments to share best practices on data quality processes, find opportunities for their enhancement and drive actions for their realization.

- Skilled education and skills

Education

 Bachelor degree in Business Management or a related field such as Manufacturing, Logistics and

Supply Chain is preferred

 Certification in data management/governance (e.g., DAMA CDMP) is strongly preferred; Supply

Chain certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP) are considered an advantage

Skills Required

 Minimum 6 years of experience, preferably in pharmaceutical environment

 Demonstrated expertise and knowledge to drive global master data governance, data quality frameworks

 Demonstrated experience and competence with enterprise data domains and data governance practices

 Highly organized profile, proactive with a problem-solving mind set

 Strong English communication skills written and verbally

 Awareness of business and industry dynamics and regulation

 Capable of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

 Strong SAP and MS Office experience

 Experience in master data, data governance or data quality roles within complex enterprise environments is required

Competencies required for the role:

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and communicate clearly and effectively with both operational personnel as well as senior leaders

 Leadership, ability to manage a team of 2-3 professionals

 Ability to think End-to-End when analyzing problems and resolving project conflicts

 Willingness to be flexible and to work in a rapidly changing environment
