Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Global Compensation Analyst / Compensation Specialist to support the Global Compensation, Recognition and Tools team. The role will focus on compensation analytics, market benchmarking, compensation survey administration, data analysis, reporting, and project coordination across a global organization.The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Reward Centre of Expertise and support compensation initiatives across Consulting, Specialty Businesses, and Business Services.This role requires a highly analytical skilled with advanced Excel skills who can interpret compensation and market data, identify trends and inconsistencies, and provide meaningful insights rather than simply reporting data.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking for positions across multiple countries, functions, and business units.
- Analyze compensation survey data and external market information to determine competitive salary positioning.
- Support annual and ad hoc compensation surveys, including data collection, survey submissions, validation, and reporting.
- Analyze compensation data and market trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop compensation reports, dashboards, Pivot Tables, and ad hoc analyses.
- Review large compensation datasets to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, trends, and potential data-quality issues.
- Gather, organize, validate, and analyze complex employment and compensation market data.
- Apply knowledge of local market dynamics and compensation practices when interpreting survey and benchmarking results.
- Support global and regional compensation projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues across multiple geographies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely project delivery.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling employee and compensation information.
Mandatory Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, HR Analytics, Workforce Analytics, or a closely related analytical role.
- Strong hands-on experience with compensation analysis and/or market benchmarking.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Advanced formulas
- Data manipulation and analysis
- Reporting and dashboard creation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and trends and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with broad direction and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with compensation surveys and market benchmarking data.
- Experience with compensation survey providers/platforms such as WTW, Mercer, Aon Radford, or equivalent.
- Exposure to global compensation programs and international market benchmarking.
- Experience working in a global or multinational organization.
- Experience within Technology, IT Services, Consulting, or Professional Services environments.
