Job Title: GitHub Admin

Location: Pune

Working hours: 2pm to 11pm & 3pm to 12am

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Manage GitHub Enterprise organizations, repositories, teams, and user access.
- Administer repository lifecycle activities, governance, and security controls.
- Lead/support migration from GitHub Classic to GitHub Enterprise Managed Users (EMU).
- Configure and manage SSO, SCIM, and Entra ID/Azure AD integrations.
- Implement repository security policies, branch protection, and GitHub Advanced Security features.
- Support GitHub Actions, CI/CD integrations, and platform operations.
- Troubleshoot GitHub-related issues and provide L2/L3 support.
- Develop automation using GitHub APIs, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Maintain platform documentation, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in GitHub Administration or SCM platform administration.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) and repository management.
- Proven experience in GitHub Classic to GitHub EMU migrations.
- Strong knowledge of GitHub Organizations, Teams, Permissions, and Access Management.
- Experience with SSO, SCIM, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Identity & Access Management.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, branching strategies, and pull request processes.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD integrations, and GitHub Advanced Security.
- Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Solid troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.





Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Azure DevOps, other CI/CD platforms.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, etc.).
- Experience in migration planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
- Exposure to enterprise security and compliance requirements.
- GitHub Enterprise Administration certification or relevant DevOps certifications are a plus.
