Role Description As a Generative AI Engineer at Betterbizs, you will design, build, and maintain generative AI solutions that power business applications and internal tools. You will work with large language models and other generative architectures, develop APIs and microservices, and integrate AI features into existing platforms. Daily tasks include experimenting with model architectures, prompt engineering, fine-tuning models on domain-specific data, and evaluating performance using quantitative and qualitative metrics.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust AI features, while ensuring security, reliability, and responsible AI usage. This is a full-time,



remote role that requires proactive communication, solid documentation practices, and comfort working across time zones.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, or related fields, with experience in Python or similar programming languages for building production-grade systems.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), including training, fine-tuning, and evaluating models.
- Practical knowledge of generative AI techniques (e.g., large language models, diffusion models, transformers) and prompt engineering for real-world applications.
- Experience designing and deploying APIs or microservices, working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and using CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with data engineering practices, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and managing datasets securely and responsibly.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, including bias mitigation, data privacy, model monitoring, and safety considerations in production systems.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional remote teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and produce concise documentation and technical specs.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in an AI-focused role is a plus.
