Position Overview

CWGHR Consultancies is seeking a qualified, compassionate, and skilled General Practitioner (GP) Doctor on behalf of our client, a premier NABH-accredited tertiary care hospital in Calicut. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary and emergency medical care while adhering strictly to NABH safety, quality control, and clinical governance protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical evaluations, examinations, and diagnoses.
- Formulate evidence-based treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order necessary diagnostic tests (laboratory and imaging).
- Manage acute medical conditions, stabilize emergency cases prior to specialist intervention, and coordinate timely referrals.
- Maintain strict adherence to NABH quality standards, hospital infection control guidelines, and clinical safety procedures.
- Maintain precise, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation for all patient encounters.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary specialist teams, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding disease prevention, lifestyle management, treatment plans, and post-discharge recovery.

Requirements & Qualifications




- Education: MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Registration: Valid registration with the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council (TCMC) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 7 years of clinical experience in a hospital or multi-specialty clinic setting. (Experience in a NABH-accredited setting is strongly preferred). Fresh graduates with exceptional clinical training are also welcome to apply.
- Skills: Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, empathetic patient care, strong communication proficiency (Malayalam & English required), and the ability to manage medical emergencies efficiently.
