Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Practitioner role based in Coimbatore North.

The General

Practitioner will provide primary medical care, including patient consultations, physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment for a broad range of conditions.

Responsibilities include managing outpatient care, prescribing medications, maintaining accurate medical records, and coordinating with nursing and allied health staff to ensure continuity of care. The role also involves health education, preventive care, and promoting wellness through regular check-ups and counseling.

The General





Practitioner may support clinical training activities, adhere to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with management to improve patient services and care standards.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions.
- Experience or training in Family Medicine, with a focus on holistic, long-term patient care across age groups.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other clinical staff to deliver safe, coordinated patient care.
- Competence in Training activities, such as mentoring junior clinicians or supporting health education programs.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Prior experience as a General Practitioner or in a similar clinical role, preferably in a primary care or family medicine setting.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered and culturally sensitive approach.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Coimbatore North and adhere to organizational policies and clinical protocols.
