A Dubai-based NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee operations at our Mumbai branch in India. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing global shipping and logistics organization.

Position Details:-

Job Title:- General Manager – India Operations

Location:- Mumbai, India

Experience:- 3 to 4 Years

Industry:- Shipping / Freight Forwarding / NVOCC / Logistics

Reports To: Managing Director / Head Office (Dubai)

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the complete operations of the Mumbai branch, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Manage and expand the NVOCC business, including sales, operations, and customer relationships.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with shipping lines, agents, vendors, and clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the branch team to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with local shipping regulations, customs,



and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate closely with the Dubai head office on strategic and operational matters.
- Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, P&L;, and business development.
- Handle rate negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3 to 4 years of experience in shipping, NVOCC, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of NVOCC operations, sea freight, and India–Middle East trade lanes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong network with shipping lines, agents, and industry stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and drive business growth.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/shipping software.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
