General Manager – Production – Work Scope Sr. No.Area Key Responsibilities 1.Production Planning Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on sales orders, raw material availability and dispatch requirements.

2.Production Operations Monitor complete production activities from raw material receiving to finished product packing and ensure smooth production flow.

3.Fruit & Vegetable Processing Supervise washing, sorting, grading, peeling, cutting, pulping, processing, cooking, filling, packing, freezing/processing and other applicable operations.

4.Season Planning Plan manpower, machinery, raw materials, utilities and production capacity during peak fruit/vegetable seasons.

5 Production Target Ensure achievement of daily/monthly production targets while maintaining required quality and food-safety standards.

6.Manpower Management Plan manpower requirements, allocate workers, monitor attendance/productivity and ensure optimum utilization of manpower.

1. Shift Management Prepare/approve shift schedules and ensure proper deployment of supervisors, operators and workers.
2. Productivity Improvement Monitor production yield, line efficiency, machine utilization, downtime and labour productivity.

9.Yield & Process Loss Control Monitor raw-material-to-finished-product yield and control processing losses, wastage and rejection. 10.Food Safety & GMPEnsure implementation of GMP, GHP, HACCP, CCP/OPRP controls, hygiene and food-safety procedures in production areas.

11.BRCGS / FSSC 22000 Ensure production-related compliance with applicable BRCGS/FSSC 22000, customer and internal food-safety requirements and support audits.

12.Quality CoordinationCoordinate with QC/QA for raw material,



in-process and finished-product quality; take corrective action for deviations.

1. Raw Material Coordination Coordinate with Purchase, Stores and QA for availability and suitability of fruits, vegetables, packaging materials and other production inputs.

14.Machine & Equipment Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance, breakdowns, machine efficiency and availability of critical equipment.

1. Utilities Monitor production-related utilities such as water, steam, electricity, refrigeration, compressed air and other essential services.
2. Cost ControlControl production costs related to manpower, material consumption, energy, wastage, rework and process losses.
3. Inventory Coordination Coordinate with Stores to ensure proper availability and controlled consumption of raw materials, packaging materials and production consumables.
4. Documentation Ensure timely and accurate production records, batch records, process records, yield reports, downtime reports and production MIS.
5. Traceability Ensure proper batch identification, production coding and traceability from raw material through finished product.
6. Non-Conformance Investigate production-related deviations, complaints, rejections and non-conformities and implement corrective/preventive actions.
7. Audit Management Support internal,



customer, certification and regulatory audits; ensure timely closure of production-related observations.
8. Safety Ensure safe working practices, PPE usage, machine safety and compliance with applicable factory safety requirements.
9. Training & Competency Identify training requirements and ensure employees are trained in SOPs, GMP, hygiene, food safety, machine operation and safety.
10. SOP Implementation Ensure production employees follow approved SOPs, work instructions, specifications and process parameters.
11. New Product / Process Trials Coordinate production trials, process validation and scale-up of new products/processes with R&D;, QA/QC and management.
12. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for improving productivity, yield, quality, capacity, manpower utilization and cost efficiency.
13. Team LeadershipLead Production Managers, Production Officers, Supervisors, Operators and Workers; establish accountability and performance standards.
14. Interdepartmental Coordination Coordinate with MD/CEO/ED, QA/QC, R&D;, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, HR, Finance, Sales and Dispatch.
15. MIS & Management Reporting Submit regular production reports covering target vs. actual, yield, wastage, downtime, manpower, quality issues and major deviations.
16. Management Responsibility Take overall responsibility for secure, efficient, timely and cost-effective production operations and achievement of organizational objectives.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
