You will run the AIMTREX factory both lines. The mechanical line (structural steel, fabrication, welding, machining, painting, assembly) and the electronics line (target-system integration, wiring, testing, calibration). You will run them through two people you hire yourself: a Mechanical Production Lead and an Electronics Production Lead.

We do not expect hands-on depth in both disciplines very few people have it. We expect real strength in one, usually mechanical or production, and enough working knowledge of the other to judge your leads decisions and step in when he needs you.

You own factory output, cost, quality and dispatch timelines end to end, and you report directly to the CEO.

Role & responsibilities

- Factory output. Own production across both lines against the project dispatch schedule. Set targets, KPIs and capacity plans against the live order pipeline.
- Build the team. Hire, develop and hold accountable the two Production Leads and the supervisory layer under them.
- Cost and budget. Own the factory budget, cost per unit and capital equipment decisions.
- Cross-line delivery. Ensure mechanical housings and the electronics that go inside them are ready together. Most of our delays live here closing that gap is the single biggest reason this role exists.
- Stores and material.



Raw material and component inventory control across both lines; coordinate with SCM on long-lead electronic items and imports.
- Quality, safety and compliance. In-process and final inspection on both lines; ballistic, structural and electrical safety across the factory; CAPA jointly with QA/QC and R&D.;
- MIS to leadership. Output, cost, rejection and on-time-dispatch numbers on a fixed weekly cadence.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
- 12–18 years in manufacturing, fabrication or defence systems production, including 5–8 years as Factory Head, Plant Head or GM – Manufacturing. Running a single production line is not the same thing.
- Has run a multi-discipline factory through subordinate leads. Depth in fabrication, welding, machining and mechanical assembly, plus enough working knowledge of electronics assembly, testing and calibration to manage that line credibly.
- Has personally hired and built a supervisory team — not inherited one — and has carried factory budget, cost control and capacity planning.
- Comfortable on ERP / production systems and working across Projects, SCM and QA without friction.
- This role will not suit an individual contributor who wants to run the shop floor personally, or a production manager who has never carried budget or hiring authority.
