Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager – C&I; Solar Projects to lead our Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) solar business development and project growth initiatives across South India.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in C&I; solar business development, client acquisition, project sales, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building key client relationships, and driving the company's C&I; solar business across the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and drive C&I; solar business development activities across South India.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities among commercial and industrial clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate customers, industrial groups, investors, consultants, and strategic partners.
- Generate and manage a strong pipeline of C&I; solar projects.
- Develop business strategies to achieve revenue and project acquisition targets.
- Lead negotiations with clients and support the team in closing major projects.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical and project teams to develop suitable solar solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the C&I; solar sector.




- Build and manage regional business development teams as required.
- Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, finance, procurement, and project execution for successful project delivery.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, commercial discussions, and project negotiations.
- Maintain regular business forecasts, sales reports, and management updates.
- Drive the team toward achieving business development and project acquisition targets.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Solar Industry.
- Robust and demonstrable experience in C&I; Solar Business Development is required.
- B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial solar projects and the renewable energy market.
- Proven experience in client acquisition, business development, sales, and project development.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Kannada language proficiency is required.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
- Strong business networking and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to lead teams and work toward ambitious business targets.
- Immediate joining is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: ₹1,00,000 per month

Additional Benefits: Based on experience, current CTC, and overall suitability for the role.
