About the role

As Care ADHD continues to expand its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India, the GCC General Manager will provide the local leadership required to build, develop and manage a high-performing organisation.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation, people leadership and management of the GCC. The General Manager will provide direct line management and HR accountability for GCC functional leaders, including roles such as Patient Services, Technology, Information Governance, Finance and other shared services functions as they develop.

Whilst the General Manager will hold responsibility for local delivery, performance management, employee engagement and GCC effectiveness, accountability for functional strategy, standards, priorities and outputs will remain with the relevant UK executive leaders.

You will play a key role in ensuring the GCC operates as an aligned, scalable and trusted part of the wider organisation, supporting growth while maintaining strong governance, culture and operational discipline.

What you'll be doing

1. GCC leadership and organisational management

- Lead the day-to-day operation of the GCC
- Provide visible and accessible leadership to all GCC teams
- Build a high-performance culture founded on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Ensure the GCC operates in line with organisational values, policies and governance requirements
- Act as a senior local representative of the organisation in India

2. People leadership and line management

- Act as the direct line manager for GCC functional leaders, working in partnership with UK executives who are responsible for functional leadership
- Support leaders through coaching, development, performance management and succession planning
- Ensure consistent application of people policies and employment practices
- Lead recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities across the GCC
- Address employee relations matters and people risks in partnership with HR





3. Operational oversight and delivery assurance

- Maintain oversight of operational performance across GCC functions
- Ensure teams are appropriately resourced and capable of meeting agreed objectives
- Monitor service performance, operational risks and delivery challenges
- Support resolution of cross-functional issues and dependencies
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between India and UK teams

4. Governance, risk and compliance

- Ensure compliance with local legal, regulatory and corporate requirements
- Maintain oversight of operational, people and organisational risks within the GCC
- Support implementation of governance frameworks, controls and assurance activities
- Promote a culture of openness, transparency and early risk escalation
- Act as the senior escalation point for significant local issues
- Report on GCC performance, risks and issues to UK governance arrangements

5. Stakeholder management and global collaboration

- Build strong working relationships with UK executive leaders and functional teams
- Serve as the primary coordination point for GCC-wide matters
- Support alignment of priorities across multiple functions
- Facilitate communication, issue resolution and decision-making across geographies
- Represent the GCC in organisational forums, governance meetings and strategic discussions

6. Growth, scale and continuous improvement

- Support expansion of GCC functions, services and capabilities
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and employee experience
- Help establish scalable operating models,



structures and processes
- Ensure organisational growth is supported by appropriate leadership, controls and oversight
- Contribute to the long-term development of the India operation

What we're looking for

- Significant experience leading a multi-functional operational organisation, shared services centre, GCC or business unit
- Strong people leadership and line management experience across diverse teams
- Experience operating within regulated, governance-led or professional services environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and functions
- Strong understanding of organisational development, workforce planning and performance management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and sound operational judgement
- A calm, credible and pragmatic leadership style
