Job Title: Experienced Game Developer Needed for Game Mechanics & In-Game Code Editor

​Project Overview:

We are looking for a skilled game programmer to help develop core features for our upcoming game project. We need a technical expert who can smoothly handle both complex gameplay mechanics and the creation of a custom in-game code editor.

​Compensation & Working Arrangement:

- ​Flexible Hours: We are open to both part time and full-time arrangements based on your availability.
- ​Payment Terms: If you are a valuable fit, we offer the opportunity for a long-term collaboration with a monthly payment (salary/retainer) basis.

​Key Responsibilities:

- ​Game Mechanics: Design, program, and optimize engaging core game mechanics (player controls, physics, logic, and interactions).
- ​Code Editor Integration: Build and implement a highly functional, user-friendly custom code editor within the game's user interface.
- ​Write clean, well-documented, and highly optimized code.
- ​Debug, test,



and resolve gameplay and UI-related issues efficiently.

​Requirements:

- ​Proven experience in game programming and mechanics development.
- ​Robust proficiency in standard game engines (e.g., Unity/C# or Unreal Engine/C++).
- ​Prior experience building custom UI tools, input fields, or in-game text/code editors is a major advantage.
- ​Strong problem-solving skills and a portfolio of past playable projects.
