Entity: Nexus Equity Growth Fund

Experience: 1-3 years

Role Purpose The Fund works with appointed agencies - Administrator, Custodian, RTA, Trustee, Auditor and Tax Advisor - who handle execution. This role is the Fund's in-house point of coordination and control across finance, tax, audit, compliance and operations.

The person reviews the output of these agencies, tracks every statutory and investor deliverable to closure on time, and keeps the Fund, its service providers, investors and regulators aligned. Since accountability for accuracy and compliance sits internally, the role requires a qualified qualified who can work with limited supervision and grow into full ownership of the function.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Accounting : Review NAV, capital accounts, fee and expense charges, and distribution workings prepared by the Administrator. Process capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, banking and cash flow tracking. Coordinate independent valuation of portfolio investments.

Taxation : Work with the tax advisor on investor income allocation and Form 64C / 64D, withholding and non-resident tax, GST, and FATCA / CRS reporting.

Audit : Coordinate the statutory audit and PPM compliance audit -schedules, reconciliations,



query resolution and closure.

Compliance : Maintain the compliance calendar under SEBI (AIF) Regulations and the PPM. Complete periodic SEBI filings, benchmarking submissions, KYC / AML and FEMA reporting within timelines. Track investment conditions and limits and escalate any potential breach.

Operations & Coordination : Follow up with service providers on deliverables and SLAs. Handle investor onboarding, statements, reporting and queries. Prepare MIS for the Investment Committee and Trustee.

Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant preferred; CS / CMA / MBA (Finance) / CFA also considered. Freshly qualified CAs with relevant articleship exposure are welcome to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience in an AIF, PMS, mutual fund, fund administration firm, or an audit / tax / asset management practice.
- Working knowledge of accounting and taxation fundamentals; familiarity with SEBI (AIF) Regulations is an advantage, and structured training will be provided.
- Strong follow-through - able to chase multiple external agencies and close items without being reminded.
- Detail-oriented, comfortable working lean, and dependable on deadlines.
