About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer AI Integration to design, build, and embed an intelligent chatbot within our existing React.js portal that hosts Power BI reports. The chatbot will improve the user experience by enabling users to query data, navigate reports, and receive contextual help directly within the portal interface.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop a chatbotrule-based, retrieval-based, or LLM-powered—to support users as they navigate Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Embed the chatbot interface seamlessly into the existing React.js application without disrupting current functionality or performance.
- Integrate the chatbot with Power BI Embedded and Power BI REST APIs to enable report-aware responses, such as answering data questions or explaining visuals.
- Connect the chatbot backend to relevant data sources hosted on Databricks and/or AWS, including services such as S3, Redshift, Athena, and Glue.
- Integrate with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic Claude where required.
- Implement conversational flows, intent recognition, and context management to deliver a smooth user experience.
- Ensure the chatbot widget is responsive, accessible, and compatible across major browsers.
- Write clean, maintainable,



and well-documented code aligned with existing architecture and coding standards.
- Collaborate with backend engineers and Power BI report owners to align chatbot capabilities with business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, component architecture, and state management using Redux or Context API.
- Experience embedding and working with Power BI Embedded, including the Power BI JavaScript SDK, REST APIs, and Row-Level Security.
- Hands-on experience building chatbots or conversational AI interfaces using tools such as Microsoft Bot Framework, Dialogflow, Rasa, or LLM-based approaches.
- Familiarity with Node.js or similar backend technologies for chatbot server-side logic.
- Experience connecting applications to data sources on Databricks and/or AWS, including S3, Redshift, Athena, and Glue.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and managing authentication using OAuth2, Azure AD, AWS IAM, or similar mechanisms.
- Understanding of NLP concepts, including intent recognition and entity extraction.
- Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic is a robust advantage.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of maritime domain would be an advantage
