: R&D; Software Engineer The subject position is responsible for software application development for industrial processes control and communication-type products.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

- Responsible for developing software applications by taking concepts through requirements, planning, design, coding, testing, and integration.
- Responsible for developing product system-level test/configuration application software
- Administer Linux web servers plus databases in AWS/Azure.

Education/Experience: BSCE/ BSEE/ BTech (CSE)/ BTech (IT) with at least 1 year of experience as a software engineer

Requirements

Skills and Abilities

- Must have experience in developing applications for mobile platforms such as iOS and Android that communicate using various protocols (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi).
- Must have experience in web page design and server-side scripting as it relates to custom embedded web servers.

This includes serving energetic data via HTML using Java, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, PHP, ReactJS, NodeJS, Python3, etc.





- Must have experience with machine-to-machine protocols such as MQTT for IIoT application development.
- Must have command-line-based Linux administrator experience, Ubuntu preferred.
- Must have LAMP stack development experience.
- Must have contemporary software engineering skills and knowledge and application of effective processes throughout the software development cycle. Also, must have a well-developed and detail-oriented approach to software coding and troubleshooting.
- Will be required to travel to customer locations for researching product requirements definition and integration validation
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have embedded Linux driver and driver development background
- Software development experience in Multi core/Multi-threading architecture is a plus
- Must be familiar with Visual Studio and MFC
- Experience with ARM-Thumb/RISC processors is a plus
- RTOS experience such as Thread X is a plus
- Experience in developing real-time IoT applications is a plus
