About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Redis, and up-to-date web technologies. You will collaborate with product teams, UI engineers, and customers to build high-performance, secure, and reliable applications that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Java 16+ and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain microservices-based applications following industry best practices.
- Design and implement secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Develop data access layers using Spring Data MongoDB and Redis.
- Integrate with third-party APIs, external services, and enterprise systems.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Spring Security.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Frontend & Application Development

- Collaborate with UI/UX engineers to integrate frontend applications with backend services.
- Participate in designing end-to-end application architecture and workflows.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.




- Develop features and functionality that enhance user experience and business outcomes.
- Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.

- DevOps & Cloud

- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Monitor application performance and system health using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.

- Quality & Collaboration

- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and development issues.
- Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Take ownership of project deliverables and ensure timely execution.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
- Solid hands-on experience with Java 16+ and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data MongoDB.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.




- Experience working with MongoDB and Redis.
- Familiarity with GraphQL.
- Experience with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or similar solutions.
- Exposure to AI/ML-based applications and integrations.
- Knowledge of Python or Linux scripting.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and system optimization techniques.
