Role Description As a Frontend Developer at MILANAM, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing features for the web platform in a full-time, remote capacity. You will implement responsive interfaces, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and optimize performance for users across diverse devices and network conditions.

Your day-to-day work will include translating design mockups into clean, accessible code, integrating frontend components with backend APIs, and collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams.



You will participate in code reviews, help improve development practices, and contribute to a scalable, maintainable codebase that supports MILANAM’s mission to connect communities and opportunities.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design, with experience building accessible, mobile-friendly user interfaces.
- Experience in Web Development and Software Development, including working with modern JavaScript frameworks and version control tools.
- Familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts and RESTful APIs to effectively integrate frontend components with server-side systems.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate with distributed teams, and communicate clearly in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience building platforms for marketplaces, local services, or communities is an advantage.
