About Us La Libert French Institute is a French language training institute based in Pondicherry, providing French courses for beginners to advanced learners.

We offer training for DELF A1B2, TEF Canada, TCF Canada, Spoken French, and General French through both online and classroom-based programs.

We are currently looking for passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated French Language Tutors to join our teaching team.

Both Online and Offline Tutors are welcome to apply, and we have opportunities for both Full time and Part-time positions.

Available Positions

1. Offline French Language Tutor

- Classes conducted at our Reddiarpalayam and Lawspet branches in Pondicherry
- Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
- Candidates residing in or able to work regularly in Pondicherry are preferred

1. Online French Language Tutor

- Conduct live French classes online
- Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
- Candidates from any location may apply
- Must have a stable internet connection, laptop/desktop, headset and a suitable environment for conducting skilled online classes

Minimum Eligibility Applicants must have a minimum B1 level in French or higher.

Candidates should meet at least one of the following criteria:

- DELF B1 or above
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in French
- Equivalent French-language qualification with at least B1-level proficiency

B2, C1 or C2-level candidates are highly preferred. Freshers with strong French proficiency and good teaching ability are also welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities The selected tutor will be responsible for:

- Teaching French from Beginner (A1) to Intermediate/Advanced levels, depending on the tutor's proficiency
- Conducting engaging online and/or classroom sessions
- Teaching French grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation
- Developing students' listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
- Helping students communicate confidently in French
- Preparing students for DELF examinations where applicable
- Preparing students for TEF Canada and TCF Canada where applicable
- Preparing lesson plans and following the institute's syllabus




- Providing exercises, assignments and learning materials
- Correcting students' assignments
- Conducting regular revision sessions and assessments
- Conducting mock tests when required
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining student attendance and class records
- Creating a friendly, professional and motivating learning environment
- Participating in staff meetings and teacher training sessions when required

Required Skills

Candidates should have

- Minimum B1-level French proficiency
- Strong understanding of French grammar
- Good spoken French
- Clear French pronunciation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to explain concepts clearly to beginners
- Good command of English for explaining grammar and concepts when necessary
- Patience and a student-friendly teaching approach
- Good classroom and time-management skills
- Professional and responsible attitude
- Punctuality and commitment to assigned classes

Preferred Skills Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- DELF B2, C1 or C2 certification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in French
- Previous French teaching experience
- Experience teaching DELF A1, A2, B1 or B2
- Experience preparing students for TEF Canada or TCF Canada
- Experience conducting online classes
- Good knowledge of digital teaching tools
- Ability to use Zoom, Google Meet, PowerPoint and other online teaching platforms
- Strong French speaking and pronunciation skills

Experience
- Freshers may apply if they have at least B1-level French proficiency and demonstrate good teaching ability.
- Candidates with 1–5 years of French teaching experience are preferred.
- Experienced DELF, TEF Canada and TCF Canada trainers are highly encouraged to apply.

Working Options We offer flexible employment opportunities:

Full-Time

- Suitable for tutors who can handle multiple batches and regular teaching hours.

Part-Time





- Suitable for tutors who are available for selected batches or specific teaching hours.

Online

- Classes can be conducted remotely based on assigned schedules.

Offline

- Classes will be conducted at our Reddiarpalayam and/or Lawspet branches in Pondicherry.

Weekend classes may also be assigned depending on batch requirements and tutor availability.
