Role Description The Freight Broker will work on-site in Kashubian Tricity in a contract role, coordinating freight movements between shippers and carriers. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating with carriers, securing competitive rates, and matching available loads with suitable transportation options. The role involves managing shipment details, tracking loads, resolving issues during transit, and ensuring timely pickup and delivery.

The Freight

Broker will maintain regular communication with customers, provide status updates, prepare and review documentation, and support billing and administrative processes.



This position requires close collaboration with internal teams to uphold service standards and support operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Experience in freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics operations, including coordinating shipments and managing carrier relationships.
- Robust negotiation and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in scheduling, documentation, and load tracking.
- Proficiency with logistics, TMS, or related software, and basic skills in standard office applications (e.g., spreadsheets, email, communication tools).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in en_US, with the ability to explain shipment requirements and resolve issues clearly.
- Ability to work on-site in Kashubian Tricity, handle a fast-paced workload, and adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.
- Previous experience in international freight or cross-border shipping is an asset; industry certifications in logistics or transportation are beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, business, or a related field is an advantage.
