We're looking for a talented freelance video editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping, professionally finished short-form videos, and who genuinely loves motion graphics and animation.

About us

HospiPal Health is a clinician-founded care company helping patients and families after they leave the hospital. We're building a warm, modern presence across Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and we want our videos to look and feel genuinely premium.

What you'll do

- Edit vertical short-form videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts) as your main format, plus occasional horizontal
- Bring videos to life with motion graphics and animation, kinetic typography, animated text, transitions, clean lower-thirds
- Add sharp, well-timed captions and subtitles
- Colour grade for a warm, natural look and balance audio properly
- Design and animate title cards, end cards, and consistent brand elements
- Match music, sound design, and pacing so every video feels intentional

You'll work to briefs from our content lead, who handles shooting and direction,



so your focus is purely on making the edit exceptional. What we're looking for

- A strong showreel of vertical short-form videos (this matters more than anything)
- Real skill in motion graphics and animation (After Effects or equivalent) — this is the heart of the role
- Command of pro tools: Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci, Final Cut, CapCut Pro)
- A great sense of pacing and what makes short video actually perform
- Consistency across a series, reliability, and an easy working style with feedback

Nice to have

- Sound design and music sourcing
- Basic graphic design (thumbnails, posters, brand assets)
