Role Description The Freelance Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Trainer will deliver practical, classroom-based training to school-age learners in Ludhiana, focusing on robotics, AI fundamentals, coding, and related project work. This is a contract, on-site role that involves planning and conducting interactive sessions, guiding students through hands-on experiments and build projects, and assessing learning outcomes through assignments, presentations, and demonstrations. The trainer will design or adapt lesson plans and learning materials aligned with OLL’s curriculum, ensuring content is age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with current industry practices.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with school staff and OLL’s team, maintaining training equipment, tracking student progress, and providing constructive feedback to learners and stakeholders.



The trainer may also support extracurricular initiatives such as competitions, showcases, or events related to robotics and AI.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in robotics platforms, microcontrollers, sensors, and basic electronics, along with foundational and applied knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in coding and programming relevant to robotics and AI (such as Python, block-based coding, or embedded programming), and experience building and deploying small-scale projects or prototypes.
- Candidates should possess instructional and training skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and the ability to explain complex technical topics in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including explicit spoken and written communication, active listening, and the ability to motivate and mentor learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple batches, maintain records of student progress, and coordinate sessions with school and OLL stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, robotics, AI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in training or teaching, are highly beneficial.
