What is a Design Partner?

The Design Cafe Design Partner program is designed for freelance interior designers who want to grow as independent design entrepreneurs.As a Design Partner, you will have the flexibility to choose your working hours and the number of projects you take up, while Design Cafe provides the backend support required to help you grow your interior design portfolio and business.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet and interact with prospective residential interior design clients.
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Pitch interior design concepts and solutions to clients.
- Design modular residential interiors for flats and apartments.
- Prepare and present design concepts, layouts, and proposals.
- Coordinate with clients throughout the design journey.




- Manage projects from initial consultation through execution.
- Work closely with DesignCafe's community managers, vendors, and service partners.
- Ensure a smooth client experience and timely project coordination.
- Build and grow your own portfolio of residential interior design projects.

Who Can Apply?

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Interior Design.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in modular residential interiors is mandatory.
- Experience working on residential flats, apartments, or similar home interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of residential interior design and modular solutions.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Good presentation and pitching skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into practical design solutions.
- Ability to coordinate and manage projects through execution.

Important Requirements

- This is NOT a Work-From-Home opportunity.
- This is an in-person freelance prospect.
- Availability for approximately 1215 days per month, primarily including Saturdays and Sundays, at the Design Cafe Experience Center is mandatory.
- Willingness to work on weekends as required.
- Not suitable for candidates currently working in a full-time employment role.
- Candidates should be interested in building a career as an independent design professional / design entrepreneur.
