Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance Grasshopper (Rhino 3D) Parametric Design Trainer. The trainer will design and deliver online sessions on Grasshopper and Rhino 3D, focusing on parametric modeling concepts, workflows, and real-world applications in architecture, product design, and related fields.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing curriculum-aligned training materials, creating hands-on exercises and project-based assignments, and guiding learners through practical problem-solving. The trainer will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support participants via live sessions,



discussion forums, and doubt-clearing interactions. Collaboration with Henry Harvin’s academic team to update course content and incorporate industry best practices is also expected.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Rhino 3D and Grasshopper, including parametric design, scripting basics, and complex geometry workflows.
- Experience applying parametric design in domains such as architecture, engineering, product design, or computational design studios.
- Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and creating explicit instructional materials and project-based learning activities.
- Ability to conduct engaging online training sessions, explain technical concepts to diverse learner groups, and manage virtual classrooms effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to give structured feedback and support learner success.
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or corporate training experience in CAD/BIM, computational design, or related software is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, Computational Design, or a closely related discipline preferred.
- Reliable technology setup for remote training, including stable internet, updated software licenses, and familiarity with online learning platforms.
