What We Are Building

Furhour is building Bengaluru’s neighborhood pet-care platform and hyper-local community ecosystem. We connect pet parents with trusted, verified local care providers (dog walkers, home groomers, boarding kennels, pet sitters, and vet clinics) while running recurring offline community health drives, pet-matching meetups, and verified foster adoptions.

Marketplaces live or die by supply liquidity and neighborhood density. In this role, you will be the boots-on-the-ground engine acquiring and activating our supply across South Bangalore clusters (HSR Layout, Koramangala, Indiranagar, Bellandur).

What You Will Own :

1. High-Velocity Service Provider Sourcing & Acquisition

- Daily Outbound Prospecting: Maintain an active outbound pipeline of independent pet professionals (dog walkers, freelance home groomers, mobile grooming vans, boarding facilities, daycares, and trainers).
- Cold Calling & Field Scouting: Dial 20–25 calls daily and scout local dog parks, walking hubs, and neighborhood directories to pitch our zero-upfront-cost value proposition: filling their empty weekday schedules, guaranteed weekly payouts, and zero listing fees.
- Objection Handling: Confidently address provider hesitations around commissions, app adoption, and service schedules using structured playbooks.

1. Vetting, Cataloging & Provider Onboarding

- Verification & KYC: Collect and verify government IDs, experience records, background checks, and certifications to maintain high trust and safety standards.
- Menu Standardization: Standardize provider service menus, pricing tiers (e.g., 30-min vs. 60-min walks, puppy vs. adult grooming), cancellation policies, and operational travel radiuses.
- Digital Profile Setup: Build complete, verified provider profiles on the platform with clear descriptions, portfolio photos, and live availability.
- 1-on-1 Orientation: Train onboarded providers on how to accept client requests, meet punctuality SLAs (<15 min response time),



and handle pet emergencies.

1. B2B Channel Tie-Ups & Offline Touchpoint Placement

- Veterinary Clinics: Pitch and lock distribution partnerships with neighborhood clinics. Install branded QR counter standees in waiting areas and manage front-desk receptionist referral tracking.
- Pet Retail & Cafes: Partner with local pet supply stores to distribute promotional token slips at billing counters, and secure pet-friendly cafes as official community hubs.
- Gated Communities & RWAs: Approach apartment pet committees and RWAs to secure permissions for society-exclusive pet health camps and structured walking sessions.

1. Weekend Health Camps & On-Ground Operations

- Drive Execution: Manage on-ground logistics for bi-weekly neighborhood drives (Free Anti-Rabies & Deworming Camps, Basic Vet Screenings).
- Check-In Desk Ownership: Run the registration desk on Saturday and Sunday mornings (7:30 AM – 1:30 PM): manage queue flow, issue slot tokens to prevent wait times, and de-escalate anxious or barking dogs.
- App Onboarding: Personally guide attending pet parents through creating their pet's digital health profile on the Furhour app before leaving the clinic.

1. Community Pet Matching & Foster Adoptions and online marketing

- Neighborhood Playdates: Organize local dog park meetups and temperament-matched socialization walks that turn passive users into active community advocates.
- Local Ad & Creative Execution: Set up straightforward radius-geofenced Meta ad campaigns (Click-to-WhatsApp/Leads within 2–3 km of partner clinics), design quick promotional posters in Canva,



and edit short smartphone reels from on-ground drives to boost local event turnout and inbound inquiries.
- Rescue & Foster Showcases: Partner with local animal welfare rescuers and foster parents to showcase adoptable indie and rescue pups at our offline drives and on the app.

1. Supply Retention & Relationship Management

- Account Health: Conduct regular check-ins with top-performing service providers to review booking flow, gather feedback, and eliminate platform friction.
- Quality Audits: Track client reviews and intervene quickly on service delays or negative feedback to protect community trust.

Who We Are Looking For:
- Outbound Grit: Zero hesitation picking up the phone to cold-call independent providers and negotiate commercial terms.
- Language Fluency: Professional spoken English + conversational fluency in Kannada or Hindi (non-negotiable for speaking with local service providers and clinic staff). Knowledge of Tamil or Telugu is an added plus.
- Pet Empathy & Animal Handling: Must be an active pet parent, foster, or animal lover. Absolute physical comfort being around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments (including indies and rescues) in dynamic public environments is strictly mandatory.
- Bangalore Local + Mobility: Must currently reside in Bengaluru, own an active two-wheeler , and hold a valid driver's license for neighborhood visits and event setups.

- Stipend: ₹6,000 / month + Travel Reimbursements + Performance Bonuses.
