About the Role

We're looking for an energetic, people-first individual to join the Founder's Office and own our Community & Events function. This role sits at the intersection of community building, event execution, and business development — you won't just be organizing events, you'll be actively growing our network and turning relationships into business opportunities.

You'll work directly with the founder, getting exposure to how community, brand presence, and networking-driven business development come together to fuel company growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Membership & Management

- Build, grow, and manage a curated community/membership base aligned with the company's target audience
- Onboard new members and ensure a smooth, engaging welcome experience
- Manage community touchpoints — WhatsApp groups, Discord, LinkedIn groups, or other platforms
- Create and maintain a membership database/CRM with details on member profiles, interests, and engagement history
- Design engagement calendars (content, discussions, polls, meetups) to keep members active and invested
- Handle member queries, feedback, and retention efforts to reduce drop-off
- Track community health metrics — active members, engagement rate, churn, growth rate

2. Event Planning & Networking

- Plan and execute community events, meetups, workshops, panel discussions, and networking mixers end-to-end
- Manage full event logistics — venue sourcing, vendor coordination, budgeting, invites, and on-ground execution
- Curate guest lists and attendee mix to maximize networking value and business relevance
- Facilitate introductions and networking during events to help members and prospects build meaningful connections
- Collect attendee feedback and post-event insights to improve future events
- Represent the brand at external/industry events, conferences, and meetups to expand visibility and reach

Business Development through Networking

- Leverage community and event interactions to identify potential clients, partners, or collaboration opportunities
- Build genuine relationships with key members, attendees, and stakeholders that translate into business leads
- Follow up on warm connections made through events/community to convert them into business conversations
- Maintain a pipeline of networking-driven leads and track progress from introduction to conversion
- Work with the founder on identifying strategic partnerships, sponsors, or collaborators through the community/event ecosystem
- Report on networking-driven BD outcomes — leads generated, conversations initiated, deals influenced or closed

What We're Looking For

- 0–2 years of experience in community management, events, business development, or a related field (freshers with strong potential are welcome)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- A natural networker who's comfortable initiating conversations and following up consistently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events/initiatives simultaneously
- Creative thinker who can design engaging community and event experiences
- Self-starter mentality with high ownership and a bias for action
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup setting
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; background in Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management, or Business is a plus

Compensation

- Internship (6 months): ₹8,000/month stipend
- Full-Time (post internship or direct hire with experience): ₹2.8 LPA – ₹3.5 LPA, based on experience and interview performance
