About the Role

AK & Partners is looking for a driven and commercially minded Founders Office Associate to support the firm's business development and growth agenda.

This is an early-career opportunity for someone interested in building a career at the intersection of law and business. The role will involve working closely with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities, develop and nurture client relationships, and support the firm's growth across its core practice areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Support business development strategy across target sectors including BFSI, FinTech, RegTech and other practice verticals.
- Identify, pursue and convert new client mandates through structured pipeline management.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions and referral networks.
- Develop compelling proposals, capability presentations and pitch materials tailored to prospective clients.
- Conduct market intelligence and research on industry trends, competitive positioning and emerging client needs.




- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across sectors including fintech, banking, insurance and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with practice leads to align business development initiatives with the firm's strategic priorities.
- Support the development and delivery of client pitches, capability presentations and proposal documents.
- Assist in managing and growing existing client relationships while maintaining strong engagement and satisfaction.
- Research and map prospective clients, referral networks and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain a structured lead pipeline, tracking progress and follow-through across business development initiatives.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activity and industry trends to identify emerging business opportunities.
- Represent the firm at relevant industry events, conferences and networking forums.
