We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Formwork Engineer to lead the planning, design review, execution, and quality control of modern formwork systems across our ongoing sites. The ideal candidate has deep technical and field expertise in Plastic Formwork Systems, ensuring optimized cycles, site safety, and high-quality structural concrete finishes.

Key Responsibilities

- Formwork Planning & • Design:

Review structural drawings and coordinate with suppliers and structural teams to develop formwork layouts, schemes, and concrete pour sequences.
- Site Execution & • Cycle Management:

Lead formwork assembly, staging, shuttering, and deshuttering operations on-site to achieve optimal slab-to-slab cycle times (e.g., 7–10 day cycles for Mivan systems).
- Material Management & • Inventory:

Forecast formwork requirements, manage procurement, oversee inventory reconciliation, and minimize site damage or material loss.
- Quality Assurance & • Safety:

Inspect formwork alignments, plumb, levels, ties, and joint seals prior to concrete placement to prevent leaks, honeycombing, or structural deviations. Ensure strict adherence to site safety protocols.
- Vendor & • Subcontractor Management:

Coordinate with formwork suppliers (e.g., Mivan, Peri, Doka,



or equivalent OEM plastic/aluminium manufacturers) and supervise formwork labor contractors.
- Maintenance & • Repair:

Establish maintenance protocols for aluminium/plastic panels and accessories to maximize reusability across project phases.

Key Qualifications & • Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience: 2–4 years of direct site experience managing formwork operations in high-rise residential, commercial, or large-scale civil projects.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven hands-on experience with Plastic Modular Formwork systems or Mivan / Aluminium Formwork
- Strong knowledge of shuttering design calculations, load distribution, and concrete pressure dynamics.
- Proficiency in reading structural drawings and architectural CAD layouts.
- Software Skills: AutoCAD
- Leadership: Strong team management, contractor handling, and problem-solving skills under tight site timelines.
