Role Description The Foreign Trade Specialist will work full time on-site in Bengaluru, supporting clients involved in international trade and cross-border debt recovery. Daily responsibilities include analyzing trade transactions, reviewing contracts and payment terms, and identifying risks in import and export dealings. The specialist will engage in business negotiations with overseas and Indian counterparts, assist in designing recovery strategies, and coordinate with legal, financial, and logistics partners as needed.

The role involves preparing clear documentation and reports, maintaining regular communication with clients, and tracking progress on recovery cases and trade-related matters.

Specialist will also contribute to improving internal processes and sharing market insights to strengthen BND Global’s cross-border advisory capabilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in International Trade and International Business, with an understanding of import/export processes, trade regulations, and cross-border payment practices.
- Candidates should possess Business Negotiation and Trading skills, enabling effective commercial discussions, settlement strategies, and practical handling of trade transactions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including explicit written and verbal communication, client-facing interaction, and the ability to work with multilingual and multicultural stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Economics, Law, or a related field; a master’s degree or specialized certification in trade or supply chain is an advantage.
- Experience in export-import operations, trade finance, credit control, or debt recovery, preferably in a cross-border context; familiarity with Indian and international trade documentation and compliance is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru, with a collaborative mindset and high ethical standards when handling sensitive financial and commercial information.
