Role Description The Foreign Exchange Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role involves managing day-to-day foreign exchange operations, including processing currency transactions, monitoring exchange rates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, supporting trading activities, and providing accurate information and guidance to customers on foreign exchange products and services.



The specialist will collaborate with branch and finance teams to optimize FX offerings, mitigate risks, and maintain detailed records and reports. The role also includes addressing customer queries, resolving transaction issues, and contributing to process improvements in foreign exchange management.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange Management and Currency-related products and processes.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills and understanding of Finance principles relevant to FX operations.
- Exposure to Trading activities in foreign exchange markets or related financial instruments.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements in FX services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in treasury or FX are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, high level of numerical accuracy, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse customers and internal teams.
- Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial services, especially in foreign exchange or treasury operations, preferred.
