Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Mawal (Talegaon, Pune) supporting technical and non-technical hiring for upcoming steel plants.

Responsibilities include end-to-end recruitment for roles such as engineers, quality professionals, HR, production staff, and other plant support functions. Daily tasks involve understanding manpower requirements, drafting job postings, screening applications, conducting interviews, coordinating technical assessments, and managing offer and onboarding processes. The role also includes collaborating with plant leadership to forecast staffing needs, maintaining candidate databases, and ensuring recruitment practices comply with company policies and local regulations.





Participation in career fairs, engagement with training institutes, and supporting employer branding initiatives for Tubacex in the region are also part of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong talent acquisition and recruitment skills, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and end-to-end hiring for technical and non-technical roles.
- Knowledge of steel or manufacturing plant operations, with exposure to engineering, production, and quality functions considered an advantage.
- Human resources skills covering workforce planning, onboarding, documentation, and basic understanding of labor regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including plant management, engineering, quality, and corporate HR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple requisitions and meet hiring timelines.
- Comfort with using HRIS or applicant tracking systems, and proficiency in common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Engineering, Management, or a related field; relevant experience in recruitment for industrial or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
- Commitment to fair, inclusive, and non-discriminatory hiring practices, and willingness to work on-site in Mawal (Talegaon, Pune).
