QC Inspector (Footwear/Leather/Clothing Industry) Location: Gurugram, India
Salary : Up to ₹30,000 per month
Experience : 1-3 years as a QC Inspector in the footwear, leather goods, apparel, or clothing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify defects and non-conformities in products and work closely with production teams to address issues.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development of quality control procedures and standards.
- Perform routine audits of production processes and report findings to management.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a QC Inspector in the footwear, leather goods, apparel, or clothing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
